Clevedon Pier with Forest Pennant mixed colour paving

Forest Pennant mixed colour paving from Lovell Stone Group around the new visitor centre at Clevedon Pier. Clevedon is a Victorian seaside town overlooking the Severn Estuary. It is 13 miles from Bristol and 10 miles from Weston-Super-Mare. The pier there, with its elegant spans, was described by Sir John Betjeman as “the most beautiful pier in England”. The sandstone paving from the Forest of Dean included treads and corduroy hazard paving.
