Home and away at London's Natural Stone Show

Stone suppliers from both the UK and overseas are filling up the Natural Stone Show ready for its opening at ExCeL London on 30 April.

For three days, the Show will be the centre of attention for the Stone industry in the UK, providing an unequalled opportunity for construction professionals and the specialist stone sector to see the latest in stone and associated goods and services.

At the heart of the Show is the ‘Stone Village’, where Stone Federation Great Britain is at the hub of a distinct area occupied by its member companies – the quarry operators, stone processors and service providers that are at the heart of the stone industry in the UK. The Stone Village is full and no more bookings can be accepted for that area.

Indigenous stones are vital for maintaining the character and vernacular traditions of the British Isles, but the stone industry is international and the majority of stone used in the UK is imported, which is reflected in the international representation of exhibitors at the Stone Show.

The latest bookings internationally are a pavilion from Portugal, where the country’s stone producers will be promoting the range of popular and less well known stones that the country’s geology offers.

Also now confirmed is a French contingent of eight of the country’s major limestone producers, whose products continue to be popular for projects around the country, particularly in London, where some of the UK’s most prestigious projects continue to go ahead in spite of the economic gloom in Europe.

Everything is looking good for another great Show for the stone industry. You can register for your visit FREE online now.
