Restoration and stone specialists Linford-Bridgeman of Lichfield in Staffordshire have expanded into the South West with the opening of a new office and the appointment of Ian McEvoy as their new regional manager.
Ian will be based in the company\'s new South West regional office in Bristol, where Linford-Bridgeman are currently restoring the historic Quakers Friars building as part of the £500million Cabot Circus development in the city. He will be responsible for all contracts across the region.
Ian joins Linford-Bridgeman from conservation specialists Strachey & Strachey in Somerset, where he was a project manager. He dealt with several important projects during his time with Strachey & Strachey, including the restoration of St John the Baptist church in Bristol and Corfe Castle in Dorset.
He says: "I\'m delighted to join the Linford-Bridgeman team and be part of its expansion into the South West. I have worked in the conservation sector for many years and Linford-Bridgeman have always been one of the country\'s leading specialist contractors."
