An Italian company called Q-bo has introduced itself to the stone market with a range of unusual patterns on natural stone. The launch range is called Rugiada (which is Italian for dew) and gets its name because the pattern is said to be inspired by early morning water droplets on the leaves of plants.
This pattern is available in Bianco Carrara marble, Crema Luna and Ardesia Ligure. It is available with a brushed or polished finish.
Q-bo say they have developed the process for decorating stone in this way using innovative sandblasting and finishing techniques produced on equipment developed especially for the purpose by Q-bo after many years’ experience of processing materials such as glass, wood and ceramics, as well as stone.
Rugiada is launched in panels of 250 x 500mm that can be used on floors or walls for domestic or commercial buildings.
