The first Ludlow Stone Carving Festival last year was so successful that another is being held this year on the weekend of 26 and 27 May.

The Salamander (pictured right) by Paul Sheldon of Hereford Cathedral was voted last year’s winner among the 21 masons and carvers who took part in the event.
