The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has published draft guidance on the legal requirements on the new Construction (Design & Management) Regulations due to come into effect on 6 April. The 2015 legislation replaces the 2007 regulations.
The guidance is designed to help anyone who has duties under the regulations to prepare in advance. You can download the draft guidance here.
The regulations state the responsibilities on everyone involved in a project, from the client and architect to specialist contractos, to plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate the work safely.
