Amarestone, Steve Turner's company based in Aborfield, Berkshire, is officially opening its showroom on 18 January with the first of what is intended to be a whole series of CPD presentations for architects and interior designers.

The stone specialists, who share their site with masons Vokes & Beck working in the neighbouring workshop, will have CPD presentations by Marmox and Stone Federation Great Britain. There will also be a presentation by stone treatment company Fila. Its presentations have not yet been approved by RIBA for CPD but are expected to be accredited soon.

After the opening for professionals on the Friday there will be an official opening for the public on Saturday.

Amarestone hopes that architects and designers who are introduced to the showroom on the open day will use it to bring clients to so they can be inspired by the range of products on show.
