Building Adhesives Limited – manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts, sealants and ancillary tiling, flooring and decorating products under the BAL and Dunlop brand names - has appointed David Hackett as General Manager. 

Formerly Sales & Marketing Director, David now takes full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business.

As a founding pioneer of tile installation systems in the UK market, David has been and remains a key driver for the BAL and Dunlop businesses. 

He says of his appointment: "The market leadership that Building Adhesives enjoys is due to great people, innovative products and a fantastic customer base throughout the UK, all of which are continually evolving to suit the challenges of the day."

The role of Sales & Marketing Director will remain under David’s control to continue an active day-to-day involvement in the customer facing side of the business. Peter Bell remains Managing Director of the ARDEX Group UK businesses.

Commenting on David's appointment, Peter Bell said: "Brexit clearly makes for uncertain times, but the fundamentals remain strong in the UK.  I’m sure the high degree of focus from David as General Manager will continue to put Building Adhesives in a strong position to meet the needs of the market."
