Barrie Thomas has returned to Portland limestone company Albion Stone as Business Development Manager.

Barrie has been away working with other companies for a while, but worked for Albion Stone for several years before that.

He has taken on a key role at Albion Stone as the main point of contact for many architects and clients, especially in London.

In his new role he is keeping Albion up-to-date with existing projects as well as identifying and following future projects he suspects will be in Portland stone.

Barrie is in and out of London taking architectural teams  on 'London Tours' of the capital's many Portland stone buildings, old and new, and offering vital information about current and historical use of the stone that was chosen by Wren to rebuild London after the Great Fire of 1666.
