Chiltern Marble sign up with Poggenpohl and open new showroom at the BDC
Chiltern Marble, who supply, fabricate and install granite, natural stone and engineered quartz, signed a Preferred Suppliers Agreement with leading kitchen company Poggenpohl last month (February) as well as entertaining more than 50 key clients at the opening of their new showroom in the Business Design Centre (BDC), Islington.
In Islington, they were showcasing their latest semi-precious stone collections and new textures for this year.
The biggest talking point was a Hydrofinish wall from Italian stone suppliers Antolini Luigi. The process developed by the them maintains the original colour of the stone but offers a choice of textures.
Annette White, Marketing Director at Chiltern Marble, says: “We’re delighted with our showroom at the BDC. We were thrilled with the number of guests that visited and from the great feedback they gave.
“As we’ve predicted, it was very apparent that texture is going to be a big trend this year and last night confirmed that the BDC is a great location for our Protile Division. ”
As well as semi-precious stones, the new showroom displays granite collections, engineered stone ranges from Silestone, Dupont and Cimstone, and a selection of high-end porcelain, marble, granite, travertine and mosaic tiles.
Meanwhile, the agreement with Poggenpohl means Chiltern Marble are now the preferred suppliers for showrooms including Norman Glenn Kitchens & Interiors, Ultimate Kitchens, Wigmore Kitchens and Poggenpohl Waterloo, all in London, as well as Poggenpohl Birmingham, Dorking, Guildford, Manchester and St Albans. Chiltern Marble Group will also supply Poggenpohl Group UK’s fast growing Contracts Division.
One of the first partnership projects has involved supplying Poggenpohl with Hydrofinish Textured granite panelling on their main stand (K60) at the Ideal Home Show (20 March to 13 April Earl’s Court) and Silestone quartz worktops for kitchens in the Classic & Contemporary Show Homes.
