Cosentino opens in Scotland

The new Cosentino Centre in Scotland.

Cosentino, which makes Silestone quartz and Dekton superdense surfaces, as well as Sensa factory-sealed natural granite, has opened a new outlet in Scotland. It is the sixth in the UK. The others are in Hook, Manchester, Gloucester, Darlington and East London and there is also one in Dublin.

The new centre is in Livingston, between Glasgow and Edinburgh, giving it easily accessible links North and South to service the entire country.

Colin Harvey, appointed General Manager for Cosentino Scotland, says: "Cosentino UK is thriving. Introducing the Scotland Centre early in 2017 will help us to continue to meet demand and further grow the brand with our commercial and consumer customers. As well as a state-of-the-art warehouse, we have incorporated a showroom to exhibit the surfaces in a multitude of ways – helping to inspire visitors."

The Spanish-based Cosentino Group has invested £1.6million in the impressive 2,000m2 Scotland Centre that will hold more than 3,000 slabs in stock. The showroom features three kitchen displays and a façade multimedia unit to highlight the various application possibilities of Cosentino surfaces. Seven members of staff make up the Scotland team, including two client managers on the road.

The Cosentino Centre concept is an on-going ambitious project by Cosentino to transform its warehouses into fully integrated service centres for the company's customers in architecture, design and the stone industry. Cosentino Centres include training rooms.
