FORTYFIVE AND STILL GROWING

While CWO have been enjoying recognition for their projects, they have also celebrated 45 years of award-winning work with a ball for staff and their guests. Bernard Burns, MD of CWO, said: “Fortyfive years in the stonemasonry and restoration business is an amazing achievement and a milestone that we couldn’t let pass without a celebration of some description. Our staff have given so much over the years and the ball was a chance for us all to let our hair down and toast our success. Over the last four years we have seen enormous growth, doubling in number and turnover. We’ve scooped an array of awards and worked on some of the most prestigious buildings in the country. With more exciting projects in the pipeline, we raised a glass to the future.”
During the ball long service awards were presented to staff and a competition was held for the most interesting bow tie. The bow tie contest was won by Gary Collings, who received his prize from CWO Chairman Malcolm Diamond. He had a tie and matching cummerbund printed with pictures of CWO projects to which he has contributed.
