Mandarin opens its own stone processing factory

Mandarin, the company that has become one of the largest importers of stone in the UK by specialising first in natural stone tiles and lately branching out into slab, is now establishing its own stone processing workshop at its headquarters in Monmouth.

The company has recruited Joe Smith to establish its factory. He has more than 20 years experience in the stone fabrication industry, both running his own business and working for others.

Mandarin has already invested in a workcentre and a bridge saw and says it has further investments to make to be able to offer its own worktops, stairs, pool / bath surrounds – whatever customers want in stone.

There are also plans to open the 10th Mandarin showroom before the end of the year.
