This was the scene at Marmi Ltd for the double celebration of the Queen\'s Golden Jubilee and Marmi\'s 10th anniversary. Altogether 50 of Marmi\'s staff and operatives and their families travelled to Cold Norton, Essex, where a local event was being run. There was a barbecue, and football and rounders matches. For the children there was also an egg & spoon race and a fancy dress contest. "We came last in everything, even the children\'s events," said Zoe Payne, daughter of Marmi directors Chris and Jennifer Higgs. "But we all had a good laugh. It was a really great day." And the children all went home with a bag of goodies, even if they did not win the competitions.
