An innovation at the Natural Stone Awards this time was the presentation of a Trainee of the Year Award. The Award went to Timothy Gash from AF Jones Stonemasons of Reading, Berkshire, who trains at Weymouth College. It was presented by TV builder and garden expert Tommy Walsh, who has been retained by Stone Federation to be the high profile face of the industry in the coming year.
