Bridie Webber, the sales director of stone and tile freight specialists Neptune Shipping, won the Young Freight Forwarder Award in the British International Freight Association (BIFA) Service Awards in January.

The Awards ceremony followed the BIFA annual lunch at its traditional venue of the Brewery in Chiswell Street, London. The awards, now in their 18th year, were attended by more 400 people.

Against strong competition, the judges chose Bridie for the Young Freight Forwarder Award for her proven depth of knowledge, commitment and career progression within the industry.

She has demonstrated great enthusiasm, confidence and a hands-on approach to her work, giving her very promising prospects for the future," they said.
