Ebor, UK distributors of the quartz composite CaesarStone, invited fabricators from up and down the country to the company\'s Rochdale head offices last month for an open day that included fabricating demonstrations by CaesarStone technical advisor German Shayder. Joining German on the day was CaesarStone account manager Maya Grinfeld. The pair, who both work at the CaesarStone base in Israel, made the journey to England especially for the Ebor open day. Translation was provided by Israeli born Rafi Mimoni of Mega Marble and Stone Boutique in London, who is a champion of man-made quartz composite materials.

Guests were shown ways of removing scratches and repairing faults in the material and were given the opportunity to have their technical queries solved. A range of CaesarStone was on display along with products used in the care, maintenance and repair of the material. Ebor Stone Division sales director Dave Beckett said: "The training has been extremely interesting and has proved an important day for both Ebor and their customers alike."
