A major conference on the use of stone both for new build and conservation is once again being held in conjunction with the biennial Natural Stone Show (the next of which is 11-13 March at ExCeL, London, 2008).

The Natural Stone and Building Conservation Conference at this year\'s Show in March saw 500 visitors listen to 30 speakers over the three days of the event. Themes for 2008 are: Trends and analysis of the stone market; Interiors, a lifestyle choice; The role of hard landscaping in urban regeneration; Stone selection for the built heritage; Restoring confidence, case studies in building conservation; Stone\'s place in modern architecture.
