Cathedrals get £2million from English Heritage

English Heritage has allocated £2million towards the repair of 20 cathedrals. Most of the money is for roof and masonry repairs as well as fire detection and prevention projects.

Birmingham Roman Catholic Cathedral : £17,000

Bristol: £9,000

Chelmsford: £25,000

Coventry: £38,000

Gloucester: £70,000

Durham: £82,000

Exeter: £21,000

Hereford: £118,000

Leicester: £200,000

Lincoln: £200,000

Liverpool CoE Cathedral: £83,000

Newcastle CoE Cathedral:£37,000

Norwich CoE Cathedral: £161,000

Portsmouth CoE Cathedral: £12,000

Ripon: £149,000

Sheffield CoE Cathedral: £69,000

Salisbury: £200,000
