Michael Shaw and his 24-year-old son Gavin of Southampton masonry company Change of Style appeared in Winchester Crown Court in December. They are facing charges of manslaughter and Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental offences. Peter Cowley is accused of a Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental at work offence and the company itself is also charged with manslaughter and Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental offences.

A man working at Change of Style, David Bail, died in hospital in May 2003 after his head had been crushed in a CNC workcentre.

The cases are due to be heard on 23 March.
