Charles Blair Jnr, the son of Charles Blair of the company of the same name that sells machinery and tools in Aberdeen, has died after an illness lasting 18 months. He was 32.

Charles left school at 16 to join the family business. After four years he went to Fyfe Glenrock to further his training, returning to the family business seven years ago and remaining there until he became ill.

He spent a lot of time out on the road for the company and was familiar and well-liked by the customers he visited. He had a significant input to the business, helping to build it to its current size.
