Repairs and reinforcement work costing more than £200,000 has been specified at Holy Trinity Church in the village of Penn Street, Buckinghamshire, following inspection of the wall cavities using an endoscope, more commonly used for getting to the bottom of medical problems. Architect Anthony Mealing says that writing specifications was only possible once the internal structure of the church walls had been studied.
