Construction output fell by 1.6% in September compared with a year earlier, according to the latest estimates by the Office for National Statistics. Small revisions for July and August show output fell by 1.2% in July and 3.4% in August, compared with the previous months. Output for the third quarter was 0.1% down on the third quarter last year.
