Chichester stonemasons CWO have received two of the honours in the sixth Sussex Heritage Awards.

The Awards presentation was held on 2 July at The Avisford Park Hotel, near Arundel, when nearly 250 guests enjoyed an excellent lunch before the winners were announced.

Both of CWO\'s awards were in the Traditional Skills Category. Top Award went to the project for the restoration of chalk vaults at St.Mary De Haura church in New Shoreham, a project that was entered for the Awards jointly with the architects, Carden & Godfrey.

CWO were also Highly Recommended for the repairs and stone replacement to the Dining Hall Windows at Christ Hospital, Horsham, which is now a school.
