Following the acquisition of Diamant Boart by Electrolux last year (see NSS August issue), the Diamant Boart products have joined the Dimas Diamond Tools and Partner Power Cutter ranges under Dimas UK (previously called Partner Dimas UK).

Dimas UK now market these products under their existing brand names through an expanded technical sales force plus a network of sales & service centres based at Stonehouse, Gloucestershire (which is head office), Leeds and Maidstone.

Dimas and Diamant Boart together supply a comprehensive range of diamond tools, associated machinery and expert services in the stone and construction industries.

Diamant Boart\'s existing services for the natural stone industry will continue to operate from the Leeds Office and include the supply and re-tipping of diamond cutting, drilling and polishing tools for sandstone, limestone, granite, marble, schist, slate, quartzite and volcanic rock.

Partner manufacture petrol, hydraulic, air and electric-driven hand held power cutters for use on concrete, stone, brick, asphalt and steel.

Dimas, Diamant Boart and Partner form the new Dimas Corporation, with a product range that encompasses diamond blades, drilling core bits, grinding products, diamond wire, wall saws, floor saws, core drills, masonry saws, tile saws, power cutters and machinery for surface preparation.
