After many months of uncertainty and confusion about the future of the operation of Elm Park Bath stone mine at Gastard, Wiltshire, the directors of the newly formed Elm Park Stone Ltd say the mine should be back in production at the end of this month (October).

David Scoble, the mining director, says: Having successfully overcome all planning, power and access issues, we feel extremely confident that we will be able to cater for the exacting specifications required by the specialist masonry contractor and client alike.
