A major collection of new work by artist-lettercarver Martin Cook is going to be exhibited at the Bohun Gallery, Henley-on-Thames, from 26 April to 5 June.
Martin, whose Dovecot studio is in Buckinghamshire, cut the inscriptions on the walls and floor of the Great Court at the British Museum when it was opened up at the turn of the millennium and on the memorial to the victims of the Bali Bombing in 2002. He has produced many memorials with Memorials by Artists and his clients have included Alan Titchmarshh, Billy Connolly and Michael Parkinson, and there are examples of his work in the garden at the Prince of Wales’ Highgrove House.
