Cleaning systems suppliers Stonehealth introduced and developed unique systems such as the Torc (orginally Jos) and Doff that have been used widely in the conservation fields on many notable listed projects. Recent and current projects range from railway stations – including St Pancras, King’s Cross and Paddington – to Eton College, Clissold House (Hackney), Chance Glassworks (Smethick) and the Old Vinegar Factory (Worcester).
What is not so widely known is that Stonehealth also supply fine nebulous spray systems. Currently being developed is an improved range called ‘Nebspray’ that can be tailored in a modular way to suit specific requirements including versatile booms, automatic timers and flow-meters. This will assist in the removal of carbon sulphation, dirt and grime.
Cleanfilm, the latex based cleaning method for internal use, without the use of water, has been used on many historic conservation projects and is currently being used on a number of projects including Leeds Castle (Kent) and Holloway College (University of London).
