Fila has introduced a new trouble-shooting treatment to its surface care range to tackle the tricky problem of removing rust stains.

It is Filano Rust, which removes new and even long-established oxide deposits from a range of surfaces, including natural stone and ceramics.

The solution has a viscous consistency, so it will not run on vertical or angled surfaces. It can be used safely inside and outdoors on anything from delicate countertops and fireplace hearths to outdoor paving slabs.

Filano Rust removes oxide tarnish from stone, marble, granite, agglomerates, porcelain and ceramic, terracotta and concrete.

It is non-acidic, which means it is suitable for use even on delicate surfaces of polished marble and limestone. It is safe to use in domestic and contract cleaning environments.

Fifteen minutes after it is applied it will have turned from clear to a deep purple, which indicates a reaction with the rust. It is then wiped off and the surface rinsed with clean water.
