New from Flex is the Supraflex SE 14-2 125. The company says that with the appropriate stone package, it is the fastest way yet to produce perfect results.

The two-stage gearbox – an innovative combination of high torque-producing planetary and angular gears – on the soft-start 1400W motor is quiet (which means low vibration, especially with the SoftGrip handle) and when the Sureflex is used with Flex safety extractors it is almost dust free.

The stepless speed control allows adjustment from 600 to 2100rpm – and the speeds remain constant even under load. A temperature monitor prevents windings from burning through and a restart interlock prevents the machine from starting unintentionally after a power failure. The completely encapsulated electronic module is protected from dust.

For 90 years Flex has been making machines for processing stone. The company has learnt a lot in that time and it has all gone into the Supraflex, making it easy to use and comfortable for the operator. There is not even the usual blast of air in the face.

And it is all neatly packaged in the Flex ‘Box on Box’ carrying case with the Supraflex in the top box and the abrasive grinding pads underneath.
