The launching of a new machine

Scandinvent is globally known for delivering compact high-quality machines. In recent years we have had requests from both retailers and customers to deliver a machine with a larger workstation that is capable of more and larger operations. In our quest to be responsive to our customers’ needs we have now developed a revolutionary machine that will meet their expectations.

At the Marmomacc fair in Verona (21-24 September) we presented the new unique multi operations CNC machine by the name of Scandinvent CX4. It was also presented at the Kamien-Stone fair in Poland in November with great interest from our visitors. The CX4 is built upon our patent-protected SX5 platform with all its benefits. It is a fully automated interpolated four-axes CNC with a large work table that measures 3800 x 1900 x 450mm. The flexibility of the CX4 makes it suitable for both exterior and interior construction, monuments and engravings, as well as high precision scanning. With the 4th axis we can, for example, saw stone and, therefore, use the ScandSOFT’s CAD/CAM with all its benefits – eg the camera and material preparations. It is also possible to drill and process the edges.

In this new concept we delivered our first prototype of the CX4 to a Swedish customer in 2010. During these 15 months in operation we are happy to say that the CX4 has fulfilled our high expectations with very few faults. Given this, we have an excellent reference for our customers to contact, and, if interested, visiting them in the north of Sweden.
