With the launch of the new stone cleaning product suppliers called Restorative Techniques has come some confusion over the use of the term ‘Jos’, the original gentle abrasive vortex stone cleaning system, say the new company.
“There seems to be a wrongly held misconception that there is still only one supplier of Jos equipment here in the UK and that Restorative Techniques cannot therefore be a genuine supplier of the range, nor of the abrasives used through the systems. Both these misconceptions are completely incorrect,” says Jamie Fairchild, who established Restorative Techniques after almost 30 years providing professional advice and support on stone cleaning.
Restorative Techniques say they can reassure any users of a manual Jos system that Restorative Techniques are supplying genuine Jos equipment, spares, abrasives and support.
Restorative Techniques spent the first half of their first trading year designing and innovating to provide stone cleaning systems that are reliable, especially on site, easy to use and controllable.
However, they say their focus on the environment would be incompatible with trying to get anyone to replace a complete set of equipment with an entirely new Jos system. They say they believe in repairing, renewing and upgrading wherever possible.
They also offer free update training, covering standards, safety, maintenance and operational use of equipment.
