NAMM memorial exhibition opens in Coventry on 19 June

NAMM memorial exhibition opens in Warwickshire on 19 June.

NAMM memorial exhibition opens in Warwickshire on 19 June. These are some of the new designs from Frank England.

NAMM (National Association of Memorial Masons) will be opening its own, stand-alone, two-day memorial masonry trade show at Warwickshire Exhibition Centre in Leamington Spa on Friday 19 June. There will be a lot new to see, including British made memorials being introduced by newcomers Cerrig and J Rotherham as they attempt to grow this sector of the market.

The Friday and Saturday show opens at 9.30am each day and will close at 4.30pm. Parking is free and if you are using satellite navigation you are advised to use the postcode CV31 1XN.

NAMM is sticking to the Tradex name for its exhibition, which it has staged periodically for more than 25 years, sometimes as a stand alone event, although more commonly in association with other exhibitions, including, for several years, the Natural Stone Show in London and, more recently, the National Funeral Exhibition at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire (which was back at Stonely Park last week, 12-14 June.)

There are more than 40 stands at Tradex – you can see a list of exhibitors on the NAMM website. They include memorial wholesalers and suppliers of machines, tools, equipment and ancillaries used by memorial masons.

As usual with Tradex, there will be a Craftex competition of the memorial mason’s art run in conjunction with it.

NAMM will be holding its AGM during the exhibition. It will start at 4.30pm in the seminar room at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on Friday 19 June.

There will also be a social get together at the Angel Hotel in the centre of Leamington Spa that Friday evening.

One of the incentives for attending exhibitions is to take advantage of exhibitors’ special offers. At Tradex, these will include: 30% off all the items in the new George Willcox brochure; 10% discount on all orders taken during the show by The Blast Shop; a £25 voucher to be used with your next order when you place an order at the show with James Carpenter; 10% off orders placed during the show with J Rotherham. Discounts and special offers are also promised by CJ Imports and A&J Robertson.
