ExCeL hits the mark with architects
One of the many benefits of the 7th Natural Stone Show at London\'s ExCeL exhibition centre is its accompanying promotion, which, once again in 2006, includes exclusive partnership arrangements with both the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and The Architects\' Journal.
The RIBA will remain a key partner of the Natural Stone & Building Conservation Conference that runs in conjunction with the show, organising sessions within the three-day event.
It will also actively promote the show to its members through the highly respected monthly RIBA Journal. Event literature will be displayed at its HQ in Portland Place in central London and coverage will be provided on the Gallery and Events pages of the RIBA website (www.architecture.com) and in the weekly on-line Practice Bulletin.
The Architects\' Journal group is the Natural Stone Show\'s principal media partner for architects. A highly co-ordinated promotional campaign will span its three magazines and two websites.
Coverage in the Architects\' Journal group of titles includes regular full-page advertising and major editorial coverage in the Architects\' Journal and their associated titles The Architectural Review and AJ Focus, as well as on their AJ+ subscription website.
This major promotion to architects is backed up by extensive advertising in the construction business-to-business media and the stone industry\'s own Natural Stone Specialist, the only monthly magazine exclusively covering the natural stone industry in the UK and the Natural Stone Show\'s media partner for the industry.
"It is this extensive level of promotion that actually delivers the audience exhibitors want to see that makes the Natural Stone Show at ExCeL the preferred choice of exhibitors," says Richard Bradbury, the Show\'s Director."And it\'s a virtuous cycle: because it has more exhibitors than any other stone show in the UK it is more worthwhile attending, which means it has more visitors that make it more worthwhile exhibiting. It really does have something for everyone - interior designers, specifiers, landscape architects and, of course, the stonemasonry companies themselves."Richard says that space at the next Natural Stone Show in its established venue of ExCeL is already 80% allocated and at this rate will be sold out six months before the doors open for the three-day event on 14 March 2006.
The list of confirmed exhibitors is impressive and, as usual, at the heart of the exhibition is the UK industry itself, including the Stone Federation village.
UK exhibitors include some of the best-known names in the British stone industry - names like Pisani, Albion Stone Quarries, Harbro, O\'Rourke Vetter, Sandberg, Bryan Waters Stone, Mowlem Rattee & Kett, Harrison Goldman, Associated Stone Group and Lambs Sussex Sandstone.
But there is also an excellent showing of overseas companies, including world leaders like Antolini Luigi, Tekmar, Cremar, Beltrami, Edil Graniti, Antalya, IGM of Italy, Mehta House Export and La Ponte Marmi.
