Ardex UK have introduced new natural stone adhesives and grouts to feature alongside their existing range of products for fixing natural stones.

Ardex S20 is a rapid drying and hardening natural stone adhesive for bed thickness between 5mm and 20mm, making it ideal for fixing uncalibrated natural stone floors.

The fast track performance of Ardex S20 means floors can be walked on and grouted only three hours after fixing, say the makers.

ARDEX MG is a rapid drying marble and natural stone grout with reduced risk of water staining at the tile edge. The floor is walkable after only 90 minutes.

Ardex-Flex 7001 W Timber System is a flexible adhesive for fixing translucent marble and natural stone tiles to timber floors and can be trafficked and grouted just two hours after fixing.

All Ardex natural stone products feature what Ardex call \'Rapidry Formula\' technology, developed to provide practical solutions to the problem of water staining occurring in natural stone tiles that can occur when moisture from tile adhesives and grouts gets into the stone and dissolves iron oxides or organic deposits.

\'Rapidry Formula\' technology locks the mix water within the mortar, virtually eliminating the risk of water staining, say Ardex. Another key feature is rapid, controlled drying and hardening, allowing natural stones to be walked on and grouted in the shortest possible time, helping to minimise downtime.
