Green clean from Isis
A new, environmentally-friendly stone cleaning product called EnvoStone has been launched by the Isis Group in Manchester as part of their EnvoCare range.
EnvoStone is made from organic, plant-based surface cleaners mixed with fruit and milk acids that are harmless to humans and the environment. It also includes EnvoShield, an anti-bacterial, anti-viral cleaner that is part of the range, to prevent the development of mould or fungi on the cleaned stone surfaces.
The research and development of the EnvoCare range was led by Dr Vic Garner - who was part of the team that produced Savlon antiseptic skin cream.
He says: "We started with the basic precept that our products had to be natural and externally harmless to people and the environment. We explored the properties of hundreds of plant compounds and experimented by combining them together for maximum effectiveness.
