Ennstone have won a Quarry Products Association Innovative Management of Occupational Health/Hygiene Award for hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) initiatives at their DeLank granite quarry in Cornwall. They have introduced a \'traffic light\' system on tools so that operators know a green label means they can use the tool without suffering vibration effects, amber means they should only use it for short periods, and red has strict limits on trigger time.
