Intermac lose Gary Nicholls

Gary Nicholls has resigned from his position as sales manager of CNC workcentre company Intermac UK in order to move to Spain and pursue a new career in the marine sector. Gary joined Intermac in 2002 from Ebor, who had been Intermac\'s UK agents for 14 years, when the Italian manufacturers decided to distribute their machines in the UK themselves.

Franco Angelotti of Intermac in Italy, who manages the company\'s worldwide subsidiaries, said of Gary\'s departure now: "Gary has played a key role in creating a strong and effective operation at the UK offices in Daventry and we are parting on very good terms - in fact he has offered to stay in contact with the UK office to assist with the smooth handover of his responsibilities. Of course he will be missed. However, he leaves a well-established company that will continue to offer top level sales, service and spares support to customers in the stone and glass industries, with full backing and further investment from the parent company in Italy."

In fact, the last few months have seen further strengthening of the sales department at Intermac UK with the arrival of new personnel and in-depth training for staff on the range of products, especially tooling, which the company is making a high priority in order to extend its service to customers.
