It\'s a hold up for Robin Hood
Samba Gold granite cladding panels have been secured around the lift shafts at the centre of the terminal building at the new Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster, Sheffield, using Halfen\'s SUK system supplied through their UK base in Dustable. The building was designed by architects Leach Rhodes Walker and built by main contractors Bovis Lend Lease. Stone Cladding International installed the 40mm thick granite cladding, the variously sized panels being pre-cut and pre-slotted so that no site work was required. Plates welded to steelwork provided the structural fixing of the SUK system, which in turn provided all the adjustment required to ensure the panels were perfectly aligned.
