Keeping track of memorials

Sean Trice, an IT consultant, has developed a computer program to help memorial masons reduce the amount of paperwork involved in selling and producing a memorial.

It is called Memorials Accounting Stock & Invoicing System (MASIS). On creating a new customer order, MASIS will produce customer confirmation and authority forms, job sheets and automatic stock control information, using a traffic light system to indicate current stock levels and raising fax-ready lists for suppliers. Any deposit or prepayment is dealt with at this stage and final invoices are raised. When payment is received, a simple tick box sends all the relevant information through to the sales ledger. MASIS includes a bought ledger and VAT reporting, producing end of period reports and keeping you up-to-date on all aspects of the business.

It costs £1,000 if you already have Access on your computer or £1,100 if you don\'t. Sean is on Tel: 01529 497175. Email: strice@tiscali.co.uk.
