Lambs Sussex Sandstone take honours at regional show

The first day of the South of England Show turned out to be a great success for Lambs Sussex Sandstone because their stand was judged the Best Overall Stand in Show. It also gained the HSBC Agricultural \'Taste of Sussex\' Trophy, the Rowland Gorringe Trophy as Champion Trade Exhibit and the Richard Place Dobson Shield for Best Feature Exhibit. Jonathan Lamb, the director in charge of Lambs Sussex Sandstone, said he was "overwhelmed at the success of the stand and was pleased to be exhibiting this fantastic local stone".

On the stand Lambs showed for the first time two new additions to the range - hand split walling, developed from a distinctive seam of the stone that is already popular in other formats among garden designers; and walling with weathered edges that allows coursed walling to be built with the look of aged edges.
