Ancon Building Products have installed a laser cutting machine at their factory in Sheffield which gives them even more flexibility to produce brackets for specific projects.

As a result, Ancon have already introduced a curved profile to the top of their brackets so that they cannot puncture damp-proof membranes during installation. Neither do the brackets have sharp edges or burrs so they are safe to handle.

The new laser cutter is currently producing 5,000 brackets a week and Ancon intend to expand the range of products it cuts by laser in the future.

Ancon offer a free drawing and scheduling service to all specifiers and users of the company\'s products.
