The Memorial Arts Charity is running six more five-day courses in lettercutting this year for all levels, from beginners to advanced, delivered by some of the UK\'s leading practitioners.

Courses include the drawing, design and layout of letters, as well as the very practical skills of cutting and working with stone.

Programme:

London: 29 March-2 April (beginners/intermediate) with James Salisbury

Birmingham: 23-27 July (beginners/intermediate) with John Neilson

Dorset: Date and venue to be arranged (beginners/intermediate) with Andrew Whittle

Cambridge: 20-24 August (any ability) and 27-31 August (intermediate/advanced) with Tom Perkins and Eric Marland

Charlestown, Scotland: 6-10 September (beginners/intermediate) with Andrew Whittle

Ammanford, South Wales: 8-12 October (intermediate/advanced) with Ieuan Rees

The cost of the courses is £275 per place, excluding accommodation.
