The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and inspectors from the London Borough of Brent, along with occupational hygienists and mechanical engineering specialists, visited 19 stone specialists in Brent in January to raise awareness of the dangers that can be involved in working stone.The visits follow three fatalities in the stone industry in the past two years, two of them in North and West London.
