Tino, a Spanish quarry company whose products are being processed in China, opened a showroom in Great Portland Street, London, this month (October). The aim of the Spanish stone producer is to establish the Tino brand of stone products across the world. Most of the stone on show will be marble and limestone, and there will also be some sandstone, basalt and a little granite. There are tiles and products such as shower trays, basins and baths in solid stone - and they only sell stone, no man-made products.

Nick Pryke, who is managing the Tino store in London, told NSS: "What we are trying to do is offer something different to the market. We don\'t just want to go down the route of Nero Assoluto granite tops."
