A man at Southampton masonry company Change of Style died in hospital after being crushed between the moving head of a Bavelloni machine and its control panel at around 7.20pm on 13 May.

Hampshire police said the man, who was in his early 20s, suffered severe head injuries. He had been working in the factory with two other men. After the accident he was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he later died.

The Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental Executive is investigating.
