Lapitec, the large format full body sintered stone slab, has formed a new collaboration with fellow Italians Fila, the surface care solution manufacturer.

The partnership brings together the two brands and will include joint training and marketing initiatives. The exclusive distributor of Lapitec slabs in the UK is The Marble & Granite Centre, based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, where training courses for approved Lapitec fabricators will be held on the use of the recommended Fila surface care solutions.

The Marble & Granite Centre was founded in 1993 by Stephen Pike, drawing on four generations of experience in the industry. It was established with the aim of providing an innovative and flexible approach to the supply of stone products.

The new partnership brings together the extensive market knowledge and investment into product innovation of the Lapitec and Fila brands. It will enable both to expand their research and development and technical consultancy.

As well as Lapitec, The Marble & Granite Centre holds large stocks of marble, granite, limestone, slate and engineered quartz. And as well as Fila, The Marble & Granite Centre also sells Dry Treat surface treatments, which it is continuing to do.
