"Marshalls supply £500,000 of York stone to Chepstow"

Marshalls Natural Stone have supplied £500,000 worth of their stones for an innovative Chepstow Town Centre hard landscaping scheme that is part of Monmouthshire County Council\'s strategy to create distinctive places to live and visit in its area.

Designed around three semi-circular parapets, the split-level Chepstow development creates a pleasant seating and viewing area of the city centre & beyond. And set into the bespoke walling and columns made by Marshalls is a sculpture by landscape artist Howard Bowcott.

Marshalls Natural Stone\'s design and technical team worked closely with landscape project consultants WS Atkins and Monmouthshire County Council to deliver the design solutions for the project.

Marshalls\' mix of natural stone products on the project included 2,500m2 of Scoutmoor York stone Rustic Paving; 350m2 of Scoutmoor setts; 150m2 of Scoutmoor Tactile Paving; 407m of straight and radial steps in Manor House stone (which replaced Cromwell York stone for a while); bespoke Manor House stone masonry comprising columns & curved walling; and Tegula concrete block paving for the high street roadway.
