More from BWS after Stone+tec
There\'s a new motorised stone transporting cart in the range of equipment suppliers BWS following their visit to the Stone+tec exhibition in Nuremberg last month (see show report on page 10).
The cart was on the Konig stand, who BWS represent in the UK, and Nicola Waters of BWS says: "Orders were flooding in at the show."
She says of the cart: "It will really assist our customers with the whole issue of getting worktops in and out of vehicles, customers\' houses or even just moving them around their workshop.
"There\'s a DVD of the cart in operation which we will be delighted to send out to anyone who is interested."Another of the companies represented in the UK by BWS exhibiting in Germany were Proliner, who, in addition to their new £14,000 Proliner 8 digital templater were showing a new, bright yellow model.
This is a 2D unit that comes in at under £6,000, making it an affordable starting point for digitising templating.
BWS are perhaps best known for selling Thibaut machines and on the French manufacturers\' stand there was a new lower price tag for the T108A to catch the eyes of visitors.
You can now own a state of the art CNC version of the T108 for Euro100,000 - that\'s just under £75,000 installed and fitted with training.
