More delays on Scottish Parliament
The new Scottish Parliamentary building at Holyrood, which was due to have been completed in November, will not now be finished until July next year, the presiding officer said in a progress report in August.
In July it had been reported that the cost of the work had risen to £374million. The delays will clearly add to the cost, although the officer has not said by how much.
Materials being used in the construction of the building include 8,500m2 of Kemnay granite being supplied to four different contractors by Pisani company Fyfe Glenrock.
